FIRE
DEPARTMENT
In an Emergency Dial 9-1-1
" No Appointment Needed"
The Cabot Fire Department provides Cabot's
residents and visitors with life and property
protection emergency services. The service
relies on the dedication of community members
who donate their time to undergo professional
training and qualification. Personnel are
constantly being recruited to keep pace with
the ever changing fields of fire protection and
rescue.
In addition, the fire department provides
emergency management coordination between
the town and state and federal governments.
Persons who are interested in volunteering for
this essential service should contact Skip
Bothfeld, Fire Chief

Cabot Fire department's new fire/rescue truck was delivered by Desrocie Emergency on December 20, 2008.
The truck is a 2009 GMC 5500 with a 12' rescue body. It carries a generator, light tower, extraction tools and a
Stokes basket, which is used to remove persons from hard to access situations. The truck is expected to be in
